Can I dispute anything on my credit reports for free?
I'm currently on the hunt for a new home, and every point on my credit score matters. I've been diligently working on clearing up past inquiries, charged-off collections, and any derogatory marks that might be dragging down my score. I’ve heard about opportunity to enhance my credit score for free, like with free dispute forms.
Can anyone share their experiences or insights on disputing items on their credit reports? Or is it better to contact an attorney? Especially since I found a company that also does not charge for its credit report dispute services.
