What is InnerChild?
As young children, we were able to be immersed with joy in the new things that we learn or create, and find wonder with life. We were more honest about what we enjoy, and chose to do things that we were naturally pulled towards.
We knew how to have fun without having to stop and think about a calculated outcome. We weren't flooded with thoughts like "Will I be good at this?", "Is this worth my time?", "Can I even have a future in this?"
For some of us, as we grow up, we may have a hard time recalling the last moment we've done something in our adult lives simply because it has made us happy - free of expectation, judgement, and pressure to be good enough.

How can we find our
Inner Child?
We encourage finding our inner children by revisiting moments from our younger selves - the times when we have experienced pure happiness and freedom from doing the things we love.
For many of us, these moments are tied to activities of creativity. It can look like drawing, singing, writing, designing - whatever you define as you artform or creative release, and way of deeply connecting with this world.
We can also practive connecting with our inner children by making intentional time and space for these activities again.
We can learn self-grace, and understand that we do not need to be perfect or "professional enough" in order to share what we enjoy in this world.
We can learn humility, patience, and have freedom in learning new things and picking up old loves.
